What is VLSC?
VLSC (Volume
Licensing Service Centre) is a platform that provides to you the facility to
manage your Microsoft Volume Licensing agreements online in a very easy and
simple way. VLSC helps you access the licence details and information about the
purchase, agreements and the access details and also the version and product
entitlements and also allows you to download the product or view the assigned product
key. It basically helps you manage all the tasks related to the Microsoft
licenses for your organization in a manageable way.
How to Register with
VLSC?
Below is the description for how to register with the Work Account and link to
VLSC. For
Let us now see the step wise process below.
Step 1:
Sign in with the work account by creating the
work e-mail address in AAD.
Step 2:

As a new user you will be asked to create a work
account, then on the creation of the work account you will receive a n OTP or a
verification code on your e-mail id and you will have to list it in the
verification code tab.

Now the System will display the message “Please wait”
you will have to wait for the process to get completed.
There are two possibilities that you will face on the completion of the process:
1.) The user exists in
VLSC, therefore you will be pointed to the VLSC portal homepage directly
2.) The user does not
exist in VLSC, therefore the user will be pointed to the “first time
registration process” page, as described in the subsequent slide.

Now when the
second situation occurs you need to follow the following steps as mentioned below:
o
You will be lead
to business account link from work account link and then you will enter the “business
e-mail address” in the agreement.
o
Click on submit,
you will face two possibilities:
1.) The Work account
matches the business e-mail address listed in the Agreement, therefore the
customer will be pointed to the VLSC portal directly.
2.) The Work account does
NOT match the business e-mail address listed in the Agreement, as described in
the subsequent slides.
In the second situation do as follows:
1.) You need to confirm your business e-mail
address.
2.) An e-mail is sent to
your e-mail address. To confirm ownership, the you need follow the steps
mentioned below:

Go to the inbox.
·
Open the e-mail from VLSC with the subject “Thank you
for Registering with the Volume Licensing Service Center”.
·
Click the link in the e-mail to confirm your ownership
of the business e-mail address.
In this way you can create your Work Account
with VLSC in few easy steps.
